This much. I think I caught the picture with a little wind that messed up the corners a bit
Racecar mode engaged. I have a lot more pictures to dump, will do so when I get to the hotel tonight

That’s 1050lbs heavier than my STX prepped BRZ, which is also a 2+2.

That’s right around the quoted weight for my E90.

“2+2"
The 86 Twins are two-seaters with a parcel shelf.
A Mustang may not have an adult-sized back seat, but there are actually real seats back there.

GT PeePee
That’s 200lbs heavier than my 4 door luxury sedan.

I wouldn’t sit in the back of either willingly, but I have put people in my back seats. Also, my back seats fold flat so that I can get a full set of tires in the car...
The correct retort would have been something about a v8 or quarter mile times. Then I talk shit about how you’re in slower classes, then some guy in an S2000 laughs at us both while raw timing us at both the autox and at the track.

I’m not dissing the BRZ. Having driven manual-equipped examples of both cars, I’d take a BRZ over a GT any day and I actually specifically enjoy the fact that the 86s are thinly disguised two-seaters rather than a real 2+2.
That said, I stand by my previous statement that pretending the parcel shelf in the back of an 86 is actually a seat is just silliness.

Yeah, both my front seats touch the back seats. I warn people not to ask to use them. They fit people without legs perfectly.
I like the Mustang GT, I just wish they’d have cut about 500-600lbs. That’s the only thing keeping it from being a true masterpiece.
Can the backseats in a Mustang handle people? The only person I’ve ever seen sit in the back of one was a 5'5" 110lb guy and he wasn’t happy about it.

Like I said, they’re not exactly adult size, but there’s space in front of them. My main point though is these are seats:
This is a padded shelf:

he only difference I see is the extra padding/bolstering in the shoulder area of the Mustang (the twins don’t have that so the seats can fold flat so you can load a set of tires).

It’s also 235 horsepower more than a BRZ

I can fit a set of a tires in the mustang too. The seats fold flat enough and there’s a big spare tire well that isn’t used. Take out the floor, put two in the back, two in the backseat, done. And my tires are 275s on 19 inch wheels...
